Mon 28 Jan 2019A representative from Active Sefton visited Acorn, Rowan, Cedar and Maple to teach them all about healthy eating. Nicola even made smoothies and shared them with everybody. Thanks Nicola - let's hope these healthy habits continue! -

Premier League Primary Stars - Winners!
Tue 04 Dec 2018What an inspiration. We loved hearing Matt Goodfellow tell his stories and how he turned his real life experiences into internationally published poems. Super!
Lydiate Primary was one of 10 schools in the country to win a poet for the day. This is a national poetry competition ran by the Football Premier League. It just goes to prove, Lydiate Primary really is the best!

All the fun of the fair!
Fri 30 Nov 2018The new-style Christmas Fair was a great success! Children had a fabulous afternoon participating in all the many activities provided for them and came out with arm-fulls of goodies. Hopefully they shared their winnings with their parents! Many thanks to Faye Davies, PTA members, parent volunteers and TAs who gave up their time to help make this event so much fun for the children. -
Year 5 and 6 WWI and Walter Tull exhibition
