Elm Have the Measure of Mass
Sun 26 Jan 2020Elm class took part in a maths investigation this week. Building on our work with scales, mass and measure we used digital scales to measure the mass of every day classroom objects. We then used our result to estimate the mass of the next object in the list and will later use column subtraction to see how close our estimates were.

Rowan class paper bridge experiment!
Thu 23 Jan 2020In Rowan class we have been learning about materials in our science lessons. Our experiment today was to see if we could make a bridge around the classroom made purely from paper and if it would withstand a toy car driving around it! Rowan class showcased some great teamwork in class to make this happen! -
Top Marks for our Catering Team!
Thu 23 Jan 2020Congratulations to the lovely ladies who work in our on-site kitchens to prepare tasty meals for our children. Shirley and her team were given the thumbs up today as they were rated 5 out of 5 in an Environmental Health inspection. Very well deserved! -
Elm Class Spill Their Guts
Tue 21 Jan 2020Elm class have been learning about the human digestive system and the functions of each organ.
We then took turns to try and put a VERY sick patient back together again, remembering where each organ went.
