This term, Elm class have been doing athletics for our PE topic.  After learning the strategies and techniques of professional runners, we had built up to a competition. 

Children self-assessed their sprinting and were split into two races for boys and girls.  There was a medal for the winner of each race, but also two medals for most improved.  

It was a wonderful afternoon with some fantastic sportsmanship on show.
