To commemorate a significant time in History, all the children from Nursery upto Year 6 attended a History Workshop on VE Day with Mrs Ashby.  The cost of this was  provided by the Heritage Fund.  Several children were chosen to get dressed up and played significant characters depicting the events of the 1945 VE Day.  After learning about the History, the children got to experience what it was like to be a child back in 1945 by playing with objects that children used as their toys.  We all realised that you can have fun using a paper plate and a fish cut out of paper!
