Welcome to Lydiate Primary and Nursery School from all the team.

I am delighted to welcome you to our school.

Our motto is 'Inspire, Achieve, Prepare for Life' which says it all about our mission here. As Headteacher, my aim, along with all the staff is to provide the very best education for your children so they grow up to be very confident, articulate, and knowledgeable individuals that have a love of learning and lifelong ambition for the future. 

We are very excited about our future and are delighted to be on the Dfe Schools rebuilding list which will enable our school to have state of the art facilities to serve our community. 

We are a thriving, happy and caring school which is always striving to be the best we can be which is reflected in the warm, welcoming and caring ethos that many visitors comment on.

It all starts in our fabulous Holly Nursery. Those first little steps into school, together with all the new experiences and opportunities we offer are so important for our children and families. We dedicate a great deal of time getting to know our new families. There are many fabulous transition opportunities for you to get to know us so you are left in the knowledge that your children are about to embark on a very exciting journey ahead all the way to Y6 and beyond.

Places in our Nursery are already filling up so please don' hesitate to contact us to arrange a visit where our friendly Nursery team will answer any questions you have.
